In Colorado, it seems like the light is ever changing. I struggle when I get in low light conditions, so I often found myself skiing with a yellow lens even on a bright day....just in case those storm clouds moved in.
This year, we are carrying Zeal goggles. I have been impressed by two different features that they have: their rail locking system for interchanging the lenses and their transition lens.
I have used a pair of Oakley lenses in the past and carried a second lens in case the light level changed. However, they weren't easy to change out, so I often didn't change them, even when I should. The new Zeal goggles utilize a rail system. It isn't just magnets, so it won't dislodge if there is a fall. It has a rail that secures the lens in place, and then magnets hold it in once you get it in place. This is one of the fastest and easiest lens change systems I have seen, and I have even been able to do it without taking my gloves off.

The other feature of the new Zeal goggles is their transition lens. It changes with the changing light conditions, transitioning from a dark lens (either brown or red) in bright light, to a good low light lens (either yellow or pink) in low light. This helps eliminate a lot of the need for swapping out the lenses.
